Functional Diamond Sample Program for evaluation and research

INFI supports universities, laboratories, teachers and students through our Functional Diamond Research Sample Program.

Samples are provided free of charge.

Recipients are responsible for international shipping costs, customs duties, taxes and local import requirements.

（We will indicate 'Free sample, no commercial value' on the shipping invoice. Whether these samples will be subject to import tariffs depends on the customs policies of each country.）

Available Sample Types

Available samples vary by inventory and are not guaranteed. Typical sample categories may include:

1）CVD diamond sample pieces     2）HPHT single crystal diamond crystals

3）Single crystal diamond tool blank and  offcuts   4）Polycrystalline CVD diamond pieces and blanks

5) Other off-spec or surplus functional diamond materials

Important Notes

  1. Free research samples are selected only from existing research-grade off-spec or surplus inventory. INFI does not provide jewelry diamonds, loose diamonds, gemstones or decorative lab-grown diamond samples through this program.
  2. Samples are not custom-made or modified according to individual requirements. We do not custom-cut, custom-polish, custom-sort, metallize or process free samples. If you require a specific size, shape, orientation, surface finish, particle size, material grade, metallization or test report, please submit a formal RFQ or place a paid order.
  3. Sample quantity is limited and subject to availability. If the requested quantity exceeds the allowed free sample amount for production validation or repeated experiments, a paid order will be required.
  4. Samples may include processing-related defects such as impurities , scratches, cracks, surface marks, non-standard dimensions, thickness variation, color variation, incomplete polishing or other off-spec conditions. They may be suitable for education, observation, basic material evaluation, preliminary research and early-stage feasibility testing.
  5. Free research samples are not guaranteed to represent production-grade material performance. Unless specifically stated in writing, they should not be used for high-end performance qualification, certified device manufacturing, production approval or safety-critical applications.
